China’s economy has developed rapidly and is using a tremendous amount of the world’s resources. If China only consumes these resources without recycling or reusing it in any way, the world is headed for a disaster. The Chinese Circular Economy is therefore of crucial importance; not only to China, but also to us.
In 2016, 100 excellent and ambitious students worked on different consultancy projects for 10 different multinationals in 4 different Chinese cities: Beijing, Hong Kong, Chengdu and Taipei. All projects were related to the Chinese Circular Economy and answered highly relevant questions to the multinational companies. These questions ranged from what the current role of sustainability is in the Chinese dairy industry for FrieslandCampina to what the effects are of migration on the countryside in China for OMA. The main results are published in our magazine and can be found here: The Chinese Circular Economy
